KH in the News: New York Post

Whoa, look who made the online and print edition of the NY Post this morning!

KANIBAL HOME:
The 2-year-old Kanibal Home has developed quite a following, thanks to its steady stock of one-of-a-kind budget items. “Most pieces are under $200, and most pieces of furniture are around $100,” says owner Kristen Scalia. “And a lot of it does double duty.” Like filing cabinets that double as side tables, or a trunk that can serve as a coffee table. Scalia refinishes and re-upholsters the furniture herself, which also keeps the costs down. 213 Montgomery St., 551-200-9386; kanibalhome.com. Check out a party for the store’s new “upcycled” clothing line — with an open bar, catering by local fave Satis Bistro and live music — at Parlay Studios (161 Second St.) this Saturday at 7 p.m.

You can read the full article at the www.nypost.com.

And you can RSVP to Saturday's party on the Kanibal Home Facebook page.
