Make My City Week: Jersey City

MAKE MY CITY week kicks off this Sunday, 7/18, and runs through the 24th. A great way to support local businesses and get a little bang for your buck in Jersey City, the event celebrates the community we live in while offering discounts and activities from participating merchants.

Always happy to get behind a local cause, Kanibal Home is offering 10% off all our dishware and hosting an event on Friday, 7/23. The very talented (and Jersey City-based) artist Jade Kuei will be displaying her illustrations in the shop. From 7:00pm to 10:00pm next Friday we'll be throwing a little party where attendees can check out her awesome artwork, grab some food and drinks and take home a gift.

The event, in connection with Contaminate NYC, is just one of the many ways Kanibal Home likes to recognize the extraordinary talent residing in Jersey City.
