In addition to carving birds and birdhouses and painting some of the delicate wood blocks in the shop, James and Shauna have also been part of the Kanibal Home family in other ways. Many of you actually know them as the teachers behind our craft classes where they've turned out everything from custom stationary to decoupaged animals.
Here's are the official details on this talented twosome: Finch is the arts + crafts business of Shauna Finn and James French, a crafty couple living in Jersey City with their cat. Shauna mostly paints, James does all sorts of stuff from woodworking to painting. They both teach art in Manhattan, and in 2009 they opened their ETSY shop featuring all of their bird-related arts + crafts.
